This is commonly seen on new devices. If your device has not been setup and has been idle for a while, it will display Chrome OS Demo content on the screen.
Please tap on the screen (Chromebases) or plug in a mouse and keyboard (Chromeboxes) and complete the below steps
- Connect the device to a network
- Enterprise enrol the device
If your device was already setup and displaying content, and you have suddenly found it in this state, it is possible that there has been some file system corruption or hardware failure on your device. This can sometimes be seen when a reboot is performed and the device displays a message saying "Your system is repairing itself. Please wait." which is a known issue on AOPEN Chromebase Mini's and Chromebox Mini's running Chrome OS 73.
If this issue continues to happen, please prepare a USB image with a later approved version Chrome OS and load this onto the device, please refer to this article for instructions.
