Android - Network Setup & Whitelisting

This article describes the recommended network configuration and domain whitelist for networks running meldCX Core OS for Android.

Network Address

Network address should be dynamically assigned.

DHCP Requirements

• Appropriate IP range configured
• Gateway IP set to Internet Router
• DNS Address set to resolve host names

Whitelisting: Important Configuration!

The following hostnames must be whitelisted to allow the device to connect to the meldCX cloud and also other important Android services.

Required OPEN ports 

• Port 443 (TCP) - For all hosts
